On this day, September 30th 2022 we celebrate Virgil Abloh, 42 years ago, today unarguably one of the greatest & influential men to walk earth was born. Virgil Abloh. A trained architect who begun his fashion career in Chicago – followed by an internship at Fendi in 2009, alongside one of the greatest hip-hop rappers of his generation Kanye West. In 2013 the luxury Italian fashion label “Off-White”, originally branded as “PYREX VISION” [which was initially more of an experimental rather than a brand] was founded by Virgil Abloh himself.
Fast forward a few years in March 2018, Abloh first joined Louis Vuitton as their first black Creative Director. Later that year Time Magazine named Abloh one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
